EIDA, an engineering document control platform serving complex life sciences, semiconductor and data centre construction projects, needed independent technical due diligence ahead of a live investment decision, then a transformation from a monolithic application with fragmented UX into a design led, interactive platform.

Led technical due diligence that surfaced material platform risk and opportunity, directly informing the investment decision and commercial terms. Embedded to build out the next generation EIDA platform, not just as interim CPO but with a Principal Engineer and Designer alongside, restructuring elements of product, engineering and support to unblock execution. Introduced AI training and an AI SDLC, strengthened the team through key hires, created a new internal Labs capability, and set out a six stage transformation strategy bringing EIDA into the new era of AI development. Strengthened UX through a new EIDA design system powered by SEAPINK's Design Seastem, and introduced rapid AI driven prototyping that let product work closely with customers on their unmet needs.

Quality, velocity and strategy all strengthened together. Engineering capacity returned to product and the team stabilised under confirmed leads. The new EIDA platform delivered, alongside new branding and positioning, with beta customer feedback addressed ahead of launch and automated quality gates running on every release. A new Labs capability is live, with a three year product strategy in place for what comes next.

Kappture, a hospitality technology platform used by Manchester United and leading UK racecourses, was held back by fragmented execution, leadership misalignment and a persistent inability to ship, without a unified product and engineering strategy to match its ambition.

Assumed CPTO level responsibility, running a rapid diagnostic before resetting leadership alignment, making key appointments and hires, and reducing founder dependency. Redesigned the website and market positioning, introduced the foundations for AI enabled capability, and began building the framework to balance sales led development with core roadmap discipline, from PoS provider to a platform wide roadmap. Brought in the Kappture design system, also powered by SEAPINK's Design Seastem, enabling on-brand rapid prototyping and development using AI coding assistants.

A coherent product strategy and a repositioning from point of sale tool to broader hospitality platform, unlocking real platform level value. A redeveloped core feature opened an entirely new revenue stream, and direct engagement with at risk customer relationships helped convert potential churn into growth.

A private equity portfolio needed real operator capability inside its companies, not another external advisor producing reports from the outside. Technical and product risk in portfolio companies is often invisible until deep into an investment, and few small to mid size funds have anyone in-house able to properly diagnose it, let alone fix it.

Haidee took on live CPTO and CPO roles inside multiple portfolio companies, embedded day to day rather than parachuted in for workshops. Provides the fund with regular AI industry updates, keeping it abreast of where the technology is heading, advising and cautioning along the way, and remains on hand for advice whenever it's needed.
