Manifesto

Why we exist.

During COVID, we discovered that our own home had been built using defective concrete blocks.

A home that should have lasted generations had failed. Not by accident, but because quality, craftsmanship and long term thinking had been quietly compromised somewhere upstream.

We were the ones living with the result, not the ones who made the decision upstream. It made us realise that every product, however far removed from the people who build it, eventually reaches someone who simply needs it to work.

That experience changed how we saw the world of products.

It reinforced a pattern we’d already seen everywhere in business.

Too many things compromise quality to hit a deadline, or close a deal. Someone else lives with the consequences, sometimes for years, long after the deadline or deal is forgotten.

Exceptional software products don’t happen by accident.

They are imagined. They are designed. They are crafted.

They are built to endure.

Why the name Sea Pink

Along Ireland’s rugged Atlantic coastline, sea pink flowers grow low against the wind.

Relentless winds. Salt spray. Harsh, unforgiving conditions. Yet they return, year after year. They adapt. They evolve. They endure.

Our mark is a stylised sea pink flower. Not decoration. Philosophy.

Resilience is not added later. It is designed from the beginning.
